LemonFit Privacy Policy

LemonFit (the “Service”) values your privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws, including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains what information the Service collects and how it is used, stored, and deleted.
1. Information We Collect

Automatic collection: minimal device and usage logs may be collected to keep the Service reliable. The Service does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across third-party apps or websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Identifying members, sign-in, and account management
- Providing AI diet analysis and calorie/nutrition logging
- Providing workout heart-rate reports, VO₂ max and cardiorespiratory-fitness trends, and energy-balance summaries
- Running steps, running, and diet challenges, calculating rankings, and showing them on venue display screens
- Verifying OneMove (partner gym) memberships and providing institutional subscription benefits
- Processing subscription payments and responding to support inquiries
- Sending service-related push notifications such as challenge updates (you can turn these off in your device settings at any time)
3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Data
The Service reads health data such as height, weight, heart rate, and VO₂ max from Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect only when you explicitly grant permission. VO₂ max values are measured or estimated by connected devices or test equipment and written to the health platform; LemonFit does not calculate them independently. Health data is used solely to provide body and cardiorespiratory-fitness trends and diet/workout analysis, and is never used for advertising or marketing, nor sold or shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in your device's health-data permission settings.
4. Information Shared When Joining Challenges
If you join a steps, running, or diet challenge run by your organization (such as a gym), your nickname, profile photo (if set), challenge records, and ranking may be shown to other members participating in the same challenge and on that organization's display screens. Joining a challenge is optional; if you do not participate, this information is not shared.
5. Third-Party Disclosure and Processing
The Service does not sell your personal information. Data processing may be delegated to the following processors, only to the extent needed to provide the Service:
- Backend/database hosting — storing and syncing account, diet, and workout records
- AI diet analysis — nutritional analysis of food photos and text
- Apple, Google — social sign-in authentication
- Apple App Store — in-app subscription payment processing
- Stripe — website subscription payment processing
6. Data Retention
Personal information is deleted without delay when you close your account or when the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, except where applicable law requires retention for a specific period.
7. Your Rights and Account/Data Deletion
You can view and update your personal information and request account deletion at any time. In the app, Settings > Delete Account permanently deletes your account and all diet and workout records. Deletion cannot be undone.
8. Children Under 14
The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Security Measures
We apply reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and storing authentication tokens in the device's secure storage (Keychain).
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will announce the revisions and their effective date on this page.
